Stafford Freeman’s Allotment Trust
After almost giving up on adding a building to their Staffordshire allotment, a member of the Allotment Trust spotted a Gemini advert on a well known online auction site. He made the short trip to Gemini’s offices with his committees propsed project. They were looking for a cost effective way to erect a building that was to be used in a community educational capacity.
Within the next two months, a couple of meetings between Gemini Group and the Allotment Trusts senior members were arranged, the plans were drawn and a building was agreed to within the budget and work commenced. The site was excavated and a new reinforced concrete slab was laid. The Allotment’s new educational facility was supplied on time and quickly erected.
Now, thanks to the Stafford Freemans’s Allotment Trust and Gemini Group, members of Stafford’s community, both young and old can learn about the joys and benefits of growng, cultivating and harvesting their own produce.
